American Magic headquarters at the Port of Pensacola Completed
A landmark moment for Pensacola's growing maritime identity arrived in January as the $20.8 million American Magic headquarters at the Port of Pensacola was announced complete. The 56,000-square-foot facility, known as Warehouse No. 10, brings 170 new high-wage jobs to the port and establishes Pensacola as a premier destination for sailing and watercraft innovation in the United States.
The project was made possible through a combination of state grants, including an $8.5 million grant from Triumph Gulf Coast, along with funding from the Governor's Job Growth Grant Fund, the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Program, and prepaid lease payments from American Magic and the University of West Florida.
The facility is unlike any other in the country, housing athletic training, engineering, marine manufacturing, sail making, and an aerospace-grade composite manufacturing cleanroom all under one roof. Beyond sailing, American Magic is actively pursuing opportunities in aerospace and defense — industries that could further expand the organization's economic impact at the port.
The project also strengthens ties with local education institutions, with UWF and Pensacola State College students already working alongside the American Magic team, creating engineering and technology career pathways unique to Pensacola.
