Pensacola has been ranked as the 31st best city to live in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report, marking it as the third-highest city in Florida on the list. The city is celebrated for its stunning white sand beaches, spectacular sunsets, and vibrant multicultural influences, making it a favorite among newcomers drawn in by its Southern charm and hospitality. U.S. News states that the rankings help individuals make informed decisions about where to live, factoring in elements like quality of life, value, job market, and desirability. These scores are derived from various data sources, including the U.S. Census Bureau.

Additionally, Florida is experiencing significant growth, with four of the top five fastest-growing areas in the nation. Pensacola was also noted as the fourth safest city in the U.S., following Augusta, Georgia, and Montgomery, Alabama.

However, it is worth noting that no Florida cities made it to the list of the "Most Affordable Places" to live.
